Glass Tiles

Glass tiles are gaining in popularity.  The home improvement centers are showing the heck out of them.  I understand they are selling well, too, unlike frieze carpet.

The previous house I owned was built during The Great Depression.  Not a Zoloft depression, the economic depression that occurred during the 1930s.  That time when jobs were really scarce and stock brokers were selling apples on street corners for a nickel.  The stock brokers that didn't jump out of windows, that is.  Let me get back on track here.  All the walls in my hall bathroom were tiled with 9" x 12" opalescent glass tiles.  They were a beautiful mix of black, green, white with just a hint of mauve.

Our house was part of a tract of houses that were pretty much all the same.  I visited several of the neighbor's homes and noticed that even though we had the same glass tiles, there was a large variation in shades of green that ranged from our dark green to an almost homogenous sickening light green.  I liked our tiles the best.

The other day I found a website that sells a big variety of glass tiles.  I was impressed with their selection of glass tiles.  Click on the ATG link on the sidebar and then search their site for glass tiles.  I think you will be pleasantly surprised at their variety and prices.  Plus if you spend over $29.99 the shipping is free.  That could amount to quite a bit of money when it comes to the weight of glass tiles.  Another positive reason to shop at ATG is the fact that merchandize purchased there can be returned to any Lowe's store.  That means you can save on return shipping to ATG.

If you are the least bit interested in glass tiles, you owe it to yourself to check out ATG today.
